Emily Peterson

Emily Peterson, MPH, is the Policy Coordinator at Elevate. Emily previously served as an Elevate Fellow working on policy while she was a masters student at the Yale School of Public Health. She previously has worked with The American Red Cross, The Gathering Place in Denver (a daytime shelter for women, their children, and transgender individuals), and was an intern with the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States. Her research work focuses on how wealth inequality impacts health outcomes and how decreasing inequality can improve health.
