Christina Pantzer is an MSN-PMHNP '25 student at the Yale School of Nursing. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia in 2022, a psychology major and Spanish minor. She is currently on clinical rotations at the Yale Child Study Center, YNHH Children's Hospital, and Street Psychiatry at CMHC. She is passionate about increasing healthcare accessibility and volunteers as the Vaccine Clinic Director for the Yale Neighborhood Health Project.
Christina is involved in research through Dr. Chelsey Carter’s LEITH Lab at YSPH and Dr. Xiaomei Cong’s Biobehavioral Lab at YSN. Her research interests include lived experiences in mental health, addressing language and cultural barriers in healthcare, factors impacting child development, and global mental health. She was a 2024 Wilbur Downs Fellow, conducting a mental health research project in an indigenous community in Formosa, Argentina, with the mentorship of Dr. Claudia Valeggia. She currently serves on the Downs Fellowship committee as a student representative.
