About

Biography

Brianna is a MSc student at Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the Yale School of Public Health. Her research interests lie in the field of health informatics, data science, global health, and reproductive science. She has worked on clinical model optimisation for the diagnosis of hypertension in the "External Validation of the ABLE-BP Algorithm using a Multi-Ethnic UK Cohort". She also held a position as a Lab Assistant at Johns Hopkins University Brain Science Institute, identifying antibodies for research of gastro-intestinal enzymes using immunohistochemical techniques.

She most recently held a position as a Research Assistant in the department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Science at the Yale School of Medicine. Her research appointment focused on hormonal contraception, pharmacogenomic variants, and pharmacology. She also has a Teaching Fellow appointment in the Yale School of Public Health in Population and Public Health Informatics; and Population Ethics, as well as at the YSM Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology in Reproductive Biology.

Following her research interests in the field of global health, she is currently leading an independent research project under the Downs Fellowship, investigating "The priorities of health and Wellness in Teenage Girls in Samoa". She is now one of the newly appointed members of the Downs Fellowship Committee (September 2024).
