Social Determinants and Health Outcomes

Decades of research have shown that social determinants of health - non-medical factors such as income, housing, and access to healthy fool - play crucial roles that influence health outcomes. Researchers at GHLI examine how the integration of social and medical services into a cohesive system could improve health outcomes. Drawing on our expertise in management and quality improvement, we study how health care and social services organizations work together to meet the interrelated medical and social needs of individuals.
