Future of Health Innovation Hub

A Yale School of Public Health initiative translating science into scalable solutions for healthier societies.

About the Future of Health Innovation Hub

The Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) has launched the Future of Health Innovation Hub to accelerate the translation of groundbreaking science into scalable, real-world impact.

The Hub aims to:

  • Redefine population-level health entrepreneurship and innovation by establishing new frameworks and metrics for population health entrepreneurship.
  • Equip YSPH students and faculty with critical innovation skills through coursework, mentorship, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities in health entrepreneurship and translational science.
  • Build sustainable partnerships across academia, industry, government, and philanthropy to identify, scale, and implement impactful population health solutions.
  • Advance interdisciplinary collaboration by integrating expertise across Yale, engaging faculty from public health, business, engineering, medicine, and other disciplines in developing novel population-level health innovations.

Building on Yale’s history of social entrepreneurship, including InnovateHealth Yale (IHY), the Hub expands efforts to build an ecosystem where innovative ideas can grow and have real-world impact.

Focus Areas: The Hub focuses on population-level health challenges such as chronic disease, aging, disease surveillance, wellness, and workforce shortages.
