"Social Media and Teen Mental Health”
Dr. DuPont-Reyes is committed to population mental health and epistemological justice by including persons with lived experience into the research process. Her natural experiments have identified how disparate mental health communication across Spanish- and English-language media shapes mental health outcomes. She has received over $1.5M in direct-cost funding from NIH and RWJF. She has first-authored 22 high-impact publications and collaborates with scholars worldwide. She is currently developing a book for lay audiences summarizing the CBPR project she led about social media and mental health called SocialsVoice. Dr. DuPont-Reyes is currently Assistant Professor of Sociomedical Sciences and Epidemiology at Columbia University.
