Mindful Journaling Workshop in Celebration of National Public Health Week

Registration is required. Click here to register.

National Public Health Week is April 3 - 9, 2023, and one of the daily themes this year is mental health. Journaling is one of many tools that people can use to monitor and support their mental health with affirmations, gratitude entries, and more. Journaling isn’t about perfection; there’s no set format or amount of time needed.

The Medical Library, the Student Association of Yale School of Public Health (SAYPH), and YSPH Student Wellness Counselor, Diane Frankel-Gramelis, have partnered to organize a mindful journaling event for students.

Bullet (dotted) journals and writing supplies will be provided to the first 50 registered attendees and the event will be catered, courtesy of SAYPH.

‘Grab & go’ option: Can’t make it to the workshop? You can still participate through our ‘grab & go’ option. Visit the Medical Library on April 3, 4, or 5 to pick up your journaling supplies and instructions to use on your own time. Please note: limited grab & go supplies will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Diane Frankel-Gramelis is the Student Wellness Counselor at the School of Public Health and has spent her career focusing on well-being. She has been working in the field of stress, resilience, and student wellness for the past 40 years.
