 ch\, and leadership becoming Dean of Yale College. Dr. Marvin M. Chun is 
 Yale University’s first Asian American dean. He is a Richard M. Colgate P
 rofessor of Psychology and Professor of Neuroscience. Dr. Chun served as 
 the John B. Madden Head of Berkeley College from 2007-16. He received a B
 .A. in psychology from Yonsei University in Seoul\, South Korea\, a Ph.D.
  in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Tech
 nology\, and an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in the Visual Sciences Lab at
  Harvard University. He first became an assistant professor at Yale in 19
 96 in the Department of Psychology and Interdepartmental Neuroscience Pro
 gram but accepted a tenured position at Vanderbilt University in 1999 bef
 ore returning to Yale as a professor of psychology in 2003. Dr. Chun will
  step down as Dean of Yale College on June 30\, 2022\, to continue with f
