DESCRIPTION:The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA) at Ya
 le University will host a virtual symposium focused on HIV/AIDS\, mental 
 health and substance use in humanitarian settings on Monday\, April 4\, 2
 022 at 9:00 am-12:00 pm ET. The goals of this symposium are to 1) present
  current research\, 2) identify gaps in knowledge\, practice\, and resear
 ch\, and 3) facilitate multidisciplinary discussion of evidence-based too
 ls and resources and collaborative opportunities. Panelists will include 
 the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and Fogarty International 
 Center (FIC) program officers\, academic researchers\, health care and se
 rvice providers\, and community members. The intended audience is academi
 c and community researchers\, health professionals\, advocates\, and comm
 unity members interested in this topic. This event is open to the public.

 low. There will also be opportunities for live discussion and Q&A at the 
 symposium. This symposium is supported by the Center for Interdisciplinar
