 ity. His research addresses hydroclimatic variability\, including fundame
 ntal work on atmospheric and hydrological processes and application to pr
 oblems of water resources\, agriculture and human health. Prior to joinin
 g Johns Hopkins University\, Dr. Zaitchik was a Research Associate at NAS
 A and a AAAS Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. He holds a Ph.D. in 
 Geology & Geophysics from Yale University\, an M.S. in Soil Sciences from
  Cornell University\, and an A.B. in Biology from Harvard College.\n\nAdm
