 active approach to public health\, exemplifiedby ensuring broad vaccine a
 ccess in the state through the creation of a landmark programproviding fr
 ee vaccines to uninsured and underinsured residents—codifying health secu
 rity as astatewide priority. Prior to her cabinet appointment\, Dr. Sesha
 mani served as Deputy Administrator and Director ofthe Center for Medicar
 e at CMS. There\, she executed the most significant pharmaceuticalreform 
 in decades: the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation program\, achieving $6 bi
 llion infirst-year savings. Her work at CMS fundamentally shifted the Med
 icare model to value-basedcare by introducing payments for community heal
 th services\, caregiver training\, and navigatingpatient care\, while sim
 ultaneously tightening accountability and oversight. A board-certified he
 ad and neck surgeon and an Oxford-trained health economist\, Dr.Seshamani
