DESCRIPTION:The Global Health Seminar is a weekly course for students in t
 he health professional schools to be exposed to key issues upon which the
 y may base future research\, service\, and clinical pursuits in the field
  of global health. The course features faculty from across the health pro
 fessional schools and other global health experts from around the world. 
 Its collaborative nature provides a rich environment for interdisciplinar
 y dialogue. The Global Health Seminar is a requirement for students in th
 e Global Health Concentration at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) 
 and for students in the Certificate in Global Medicine at the Yale School
  of Medicine (YSM). Students from YSPH must take the course in their firs
