Learning Objectives:
- Recognize the human pharmacology of xylazine, a veterinary sedative.
- Differentiate between the findings of xylazine and opioid overdose and demonstrate ability to treat them.
- Recognize symptoms of xylazine withdrawal and apply basic treatment concepts.
Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
