Title: Substance Use Disorders Among Populations Affected by Crises in the Middle East Region
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the epidemiology and key drivers of substance use disorders (SUDs) among displaced and crisis-affected populations in the Middle East.
- Analyze structural and sociopolitical barriers to accessing addiction and mental health care in humanitarian and resettlement settings.
- Review preliminary findings from a pilot study on substance use and mental health among forced migrants in Jordan and the U.S.
Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
