What does accountability for the opioid crisis look like? Join us in a discussion with Connecticut Attorney General William Tong and Patrick Radden Keefe '05, author of the New York Times bestseller Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty. They’ll discuss the history of the opioids epidemic, what current actions are being taken, and how to hold opioid manufacturers, distributors, and other bad actors in the addiction industry accountable for their role in the crisis, including Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family. The conversation will be moderated by Abbe R. Gluck '00, Faculty Director and Alfred M. Rankin Professor of Law.
