Yale Center on Climate Change and Health: "Summer 2020 Internship Colloquium"

Join the Yale Center on Climate Change and Health as we learn about our students’ Summer 2020 internships. You will hear from:

• Yihui Chen on her work in regional corporate engagement strategies to drive corporate climate action in China, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa through Science Based Targets Network.
• Nicholas Elton on the planning process of climate change adaptation at the state and local levels with the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• Emily McInerney and her work on researching and advocating for solutions to extreme heat for WE ACT for Environmental Justice’s Heat, Health, and Equity Initiative.
• Zoe Novic on reducing morbidity and mortality for people with non-communicable diseases after natural disasters, specifically in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, through the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) at the Yale School of Medicine.
