YSPH MasterTrack in Health Informatics
The Yale School of Public Health MasterTrack Certificate in Health Informatics is a 4-course, fully online program offered through Coursera that provides learners with an introduction to the field of health informatics and its various subfields, including research, laboratory/precision medicine, imaging, and artificial intelligence.
Throughout the program, learners will also explore the themes that serve as the foundation for different areas of biomedical informatics, including clinical and neuro-informatics. The MasterTrack is a unique Coursera offering because it is cohort-based and can lead to conditional credit, if the learner is admitted and matriculates into the YSPH MPH graduate degree program.
The courses leverage the expertise of YSPH faculty who currently teach in the M.S. in Health Informatics and incorporate pre-recorded lecture segments, live discussion sessions, and individual and team projects. Upon completion of the MasterTrack, learners will earn a Yale-issued certificate of completion and be well-equipped to apply the skills learned to their work in clinical settings, state and local public health organizations, and in any organization that deals with health-related data.
