Biography

Anqi He, a recent graduate of the Master of Public Health program in the Department of Health Policy, currently works as a postgraduate associate in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Yale School of Public Health. She is a Center for Methods in Implementation and Prevention Science (CMIPS)-Associated Fellow. Anqi collaborates with Donna Spiegelman, ScD, Mayur M. Desai, Ph.D., MPH, FACE, Dong Xu, Ph.D., MPP, and the Mozambique Ministry of Health on a maternal and child health promotion project in Mozambique. She is also involved in a PCORI-funded postpartum hypertension and mental well-being and a food prescription feasibility study for Hispanic pregnant individuals with Rafael Perez-Escamilla, Ph.D. Anqi has received several fellowships and awards, including the 2023 Lowell Levin Award for Excellence in Global Health, the 2022 Wilbur G. Downs Fellowship, the 2022 Yale School of Medicine Fellowship for Medical Student Research, the 2022 Lindsay Fellowship for Research in Africa from the Yale MacMillan Center’s Council on African Studies, and the 2021 Yale Horstmann Scholarship.
