DESCRIPTION:Leah Aronowsky is Assistant Professor at the Columbia Climate 
 School\, where she researches and teaches on the history of climate and e
 nergy politics. She received a PhD in History of Science from Harvard Uni
 versity. Her research has been recognized by several awards\, including t
 he Rachel Carson Prize for best dissertation by the American Society for 
 Environmental History. Before joining the Climate School\, she held postd
 octoral positions at the University of Illinois and the Columbia Society 
 of Fellows. Her peer-reviewed articles have appeared in journals that inc
 lude Critical Inquiry\, Environmental History\, and Environmental Humanit
 ies. She also writes on contemporary climate-related topics in public-fac
 ing outlets like The Guardian\, Foreign Policy\, The National\, and the N
 ew York Review of Books. She is writing a book on the twin histories of c
