Welcome and congratulations to all of our newly admitted Executive MPH students on your acceptance. As you consider enrolling with us, we hope that we will be able to share valuable information and insights to help you learn more about YSPH, our community and the Executive MPH program. A schedule of all of our events and session descriptions is listed below but please do note that we are in the process of finalizing the details for some events. All updates will be posted here. At YSPH we pride ourselves on being a collaborative and engaged community so the majority of our events will be live sessions. If you are unable to attend any live sessions, they will be recorded and posted here. For students exploring our On Campus MPH program, please note that the program is hosting a separate Open House and details can be found here.

12:00 PM: Welcome from YSPH Dean Sten Vermund Join Sten Vermund, Dean of the Yale School of Public Health and Anna M.R. Lauder Professor of Public Health for an informal meet and greet.
Dean Vermund will be sharing highlights and updates from YSPH and we invite prospective students to bring any questions.
6:00 PM: Executive MPH Program Overview
Lead by Program Director Martin Klein, this session will provide an overview of the structure and format of the Executive MPH program. Individual sessions will be hosted throughout the week for tracks and intensives and this overview is intended to give a full picture of the program experience.
12:00 PM: Critical Topics in Public Health Track Overview
Interim track director Martin Klein and faculty teaching within the will be speaking about the track courses and learning objectives.
6:30 PM: Health Informatics Track Overview
Dr. Hamada Hamid Altalib, track director will be speaking about the track courses and learning objectives.
12:00 PM: Applied Analytic Methods and Epidemiology Track Overview
Dr. Mayur Desai, track director will be speaking about the track courses and learning objectives.
6:00 PM: Financial Aid
Connect with Jen Farkas, Director of Financial Aid, to hear more about funding your MPH degree. Jen will talk about searching for external scholarship funding and planning for loan repayment.
8:00 PM: Student Meet and Greet
Admitted students are invited to informally connect with each other and current students in the program. There is no formal agenda for this session, rather an opportunity to learn more about the student experience and meet your potential future classmates.
12:00 PM: Environmental Health Sciences Track Overview
Dr. Yong Zhu, track director will be speaking about the track courses and learning objectives.
6:00 PM: Career Services
As the Executive MPH program is designed for working professionals already well on their career path, each student will be coming in with a different set of career goals and different career support needs. Felicia Spencer and Kelly Shay from the Career Management Center will be joining us to discuss the support their team provides to students regardless of where you may be in your career journey.
12:00 PM: Intensives
The three five-day intensives are a valuable piece of the Executive MPH program and are designed to build knowledge, skills, and experiences in design thinking, strategic management in complex systems, and leadership. Erika Linnander will be joining us to speak more about the format and experience of the intensives as well as the learning objectives.
