INFORMATION FOR

Tenure Track Assistant Professor

The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health is seeking applications for a new tenure-track Assistant Professor. We welcome applications from those interested in conducting empirical research in health policy, healthcare management or health services research. Current areas of departmental strength include health policy modelling, healthcare services financing and delivery related policy (particularly for vulnerable populations), mental health and substance use policy, and vaccine policy, though we are not limiting the search to these areas.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree by the start of appointment, a well-developed research plan, publications in peer-reviewed journals (or the potential to publish therein), and the ability to compete effectively for extramural funding. In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to participate in masters and doctoral student teaching and mentoring.

Information about the Department and the Yale School of Public Health can be found online.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, research paper, and three letters of reference. Applicants who have current or intended contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their research, teaching, or service are encouraged to discuss those in their letter of interest. Review of applications will commence immediately, and will continue until a successful candidate is identified. Only complete applications will be considered.

Please apply on-line.
