Investigator Track Position in Biostatistics

Yale Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA)

The Department of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health at Yale University is seeking applicants at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the Investigator Track (non-tenure). This position is for a faculty member with the experience and ability to collaborate with investigators who conduct translational research through the Yale Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). In particular, we are seeking a faculty member with experience in 1) designing and analyzing early and late phase clinical trials including platform, cluster randomized and pragmatic trials, 2) collaborating with clinical investigators in preparing grant applications, 3) working in a collaborative environment, and 4) working in a clinical trial coordinating center and the CTSA environment. Applicants should have a PhD by the start of appointment in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field.

The investigator track position will be affiliated with the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences (YCAS), a center under the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health. YCAS brings together existing academic strengths in biostatistics and epidemiology at the School of Public Health and collaborative staff to provide expertise for the design, conduct and analysis of health and health care studies, methodological development and education and training to Yale and the extended research community. The successful candidate will be expected to 1) collaborate with investigators on projects at the School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine that require biostatistical input, 2) conduct methodologic research to advance the field and 3) develop educational and training programs. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in clinical trials including platform, cluster randomized and pragmatic trials.

Review of applications will commence immediately and will continue until a successful candidate is identified.

Applicants may apply via Interfolio.
